Yoga for the back: this is a smooth flowing yoga class for all levels of yogis. This class will take you through very specific cuing to bring our bodies back to a normal biomechanical state. The breath is a very important part of the class, as it helps to guide us through each movement. Yoga for the Back helps to increase the strength of the whole spine, increase the vertebrae opening and improve stability of the spine and pelvis while we are moving. With clear professional cuing, you will feel more connected and more aware of your body and what it can do.

Yoga Back

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga: Friday & Monday 6pm @ Spire

This is a slow moving class that allows for improved opening of the joints, increased blood flow and balanced movement. This class can help restore joint mobility. Each pose is held for long periods, about 3-5 minutes, to allow full opening without strain or discomfort to the body. After a day of winter sports, biking, running, hiking, climbing or any other activity, you need this yoga! Bring your body back to equilibrium and release any tension in your mind and body. Allow your whole body to be at peace so you can regain your balance and decrease possible injuries. Yin also allows assists in restfulness at night.

Mental Resilance

At Spire Climbing Center: Sundays 9:00am

Bring your body back into balance during this stressful and turbulent life. This yoga class combines low intensity and high energy yoga to create restored connections in the body that naturally bring us into alignment. This class is for all levels of yogis. Everyone is expected to honor their selves as they follow the body in its unique expression. A short sound bath completes that class in savasana/relaxation pose.

This class is for people who want to flow though life with ease and clarity of the body, mind and spirit. If you want to stay strong and flexible in the spine and prevent or reduce irritation or nagging issues with the spine and low back, this class may be for you. The focus of the the class is to allow the breath to guide our motion, increase lung function and circulation to the whole body. We flow slowly though the asanas to open all the energy centers in the body, enabling a balanced and refreshed body. This yoga is for anyone looking to increase spinal stability to function at a higher level as they age gracefully. This yoga can contribute to continuing to be an active member in the community with less pain, throughout life.*
